Magnesium may be the most important minerals for good health. Magnesium is responsible for over 300 enzyme related processes in the body! Magnesium is found in many foods including….. leafy greens, nuts and seeds, raw cacao, and whole grains, daily stress, however certain diseases and medications, and exercise often increase our need for this mineral.

Here are a couple of questions to ask yourself to determine if you might need a little more magnesium in your day.

Do you feel like you drag yourself out of bed each day?

Do you get poor quality sleep and feel like you doze more than anything else?

Do you get muscle cramps, restless legs or twitches around your eyes?

Do you suffer with fibromyalgia?

Do you experience high levels of PMS?

Are you dealing with a lot of stress at the moment?

Are you suffering with anxiety?

If you answered yes to any of these questions you may want to consider a magnesium supplement.

Remember not all magnesium supplements are created equal. The type of magnesium used in the supplement will determine how much of it is absorbed and whether you start to feel the benefits or not.
